By accessing or using ahmershah.dev (including its GitHub Pages mirror at ahmershahdev.github.io/Portfolio), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the site.

The site is owned and operated by Syed Ahmer Shah, an individual based in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan — not a registered company or agency.

ahmershah.dev is a personal and professional portfolio showcasing Syed Ahmer Shah's education, skills, certifications, projects, published writing, and ways to get in touch. It is an informational and promotional site — it does not sell products or services, process payments, or create any contractual relationship by itself. Any actual paid work, freelance engagement, or employment is governed by a separate, explicit agreement made directly between the parties involved.

04Intellectual Property & Proprietary Content

All content on this site — including but not limited to the source code, visual design, layout, 3D assets, copywriting, project descriptions, and certificates — is the original work of Syed Ahmer Shah and is protected by copyright. This protection extends to content published across his connected platforms, including GitHub, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Medium, Hashnode, Dev.to, Substack, HackerNoon, Sessionize, Bluesky, Credly, Google Business Profile, and any other channel officially linked from this site.

The content of this site is proprietary and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.You may view the website and learn from publicly available techniques — but you may not copy, fork for commercial resale, rebrand, or otherwise use this site's design, source code, or written content to build your own portfolio or product and present it as your own. Written articles, videos, and images published on the platforms listed above may not be reproduced, redistributed, or resold without prior written permission.

Third-party libraries, fonts, and assets used in this project (Bootstrap, Three.js, Turn.js, Google Fonts, etc.) remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their own applicable licenses.

05Limited License to Visitors

Subject to these Terms, Syed Ahmer Shah grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view this site for personal, non-commercial, informational purposes only. No other right, title, or interest is transferred to you.

06Acceptable Use

The contact form is provided so visitors can reach out about opportunities, collaboration, or questions. Submitting the form does not guarantee a response within any specific timeframe, and nothing communicated through it should be treated as professional, legal, or financial advice unless explicitly stated. Messages sent through the form are protected by reCAPTCHA and a honeypot field to filter spam — see the Privacy Policy for details on how submitted data is handled.

08The "Ahmer" Assistant

The chat assistant on this site answers questions about Syed Ahmer Shah's work, services and availability. It draws on a curated FAQ and, where configured, an AI model that is restricted to this site's own published facts. Its replies are provided for convenience and orientation only: they are not a quotation, a contract, or professional advice, and any commitment (scope, price, timeline) is only binding once confirmed in writing by Syed Ahmer Shah directly. Do not use the assistant to submit sensitive personal data; use the contact form or email instead. Attempts to abuse, jailbreak or overload the assistant are a breach of Section 6.

09Certifications & Credentials

Certificates, badges, and credentials displayed on this site (Coursera, HackerRank, LinkedIn Learning, Credly, and others) were genuinely earned by Syed Ahmer Shah and are verifiable through their respective issuing platforms. Their display here does not imply an ongoing partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement by the issuing organizations beyond the credential itself.

10Third-Party Links & Services

This site links to and relies on third-party platforms and services (GitHub, LinkedIn, Coursera, Medium, Resend, Google reCAPTCHA, Vercel, Cloudinary, and others). Syed Ahmer Shah does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those third parties. Use of any third-party platform is governed by that platform's own terms.

11No Warranty

This site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, uptime, or fitness for a particular purpose. While reasonable effort is made to keep information current (education, skills, projects, certifications), errors or outdated details may occasionally appear.

12Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Syed Ahmer Shah shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site — including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or reliance on any information presented here.

13Termination & Access Restriction

Syed Ahmer Shah reserves the right to restrict, rate-limit, or block access to this site for any visitor or system engaging in abusive behavior, security probing, scraping, or violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

14Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of this site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sindh, Pakistan.

15Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
